Common questions

Quinn's call isn't reaching my phone

Check three things: your number shows as verified (You tab — re-verify if you switched phones), you have free calls or plan minutes remaining, and you're calling within quiet hours (8am–9pm your local time). Quinn calls from a regular US phone number — if your phone silences unknown callers, save Quinn's number from your call history as a contact so it rings through. Quinn calls US and Canada numbers at launch.

Verifying or changing my number

During setup you enter your number and confirm a one-time SMS code; Quinn only ever calls that verified number. To change it, go to You → Change number and verify the new one the same way. For anti-abuse reasons the number of changes in a 30-day window is limited — if you hit the limit, email us.

I didn't get my scorecard after a call

Scorecards are generated right after you hang up and usually arrive within a minute, landing in the Scorecards tab. Very short calls (under a minute) don't generate one. In the rare case our analysis can't complete, Quinn delivers a quick read from the call's measured numbers and automatically refunds that call's minutes — you'll never be charged for a missing scorecard.

Managing or cancelling a subscription

Subscriptions are billed by Apple. To change or cancel: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Quinn. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan keeps working until the end of the paid period. There's no free trial on the subscriptions — your first 3 practice calls are free instead. To restore a purchase on a new device, use Restore in the You tab.

About the Interview Tomorrow Pack

It's a one-time purchase that adds 60 practice minutes for the next 7 days, for when you've run low right before a big day. It requires an active subscription, and the minutes are used automatically once your monthly pool is spent.

Deleting my account and data

In the app: You tab → Delete Account. This permanently erases your transcripts, scorecards, question plans, visa practice answers, schedules, and phone number. You can also email mitsi@uptrail.ai and we'll delete everything within 30 days. Details in the privacy policy.

Is Quinn a real person? Is this cheating?

No on both. Quinn is an AI coach — it says so on every call — and it's strictly for practice: it calls you, runs a mock interview, and coaches you afterward. It never joins a real interview or feeds you answers. Every AI-generated surface in the app is labeled and carries a "Report" control.
